Alison has worked for five years as Public Sector Practice Leader at Aon. Before then she was Aon's Director of Public Sector for two years. Prior to that, she worked as an Account Executive at Jardine Lloyd Thompson and Heath Lambert.
Alix Bedford is a strategic risk professional with over 16 years’ experience working both with and within the public sector. Alix’s current role involves looking at the key emerging and evolving areas of risk impacting the public sector now and in the future, talking to risk professionals within the sector about the challenges facing their organisations and working within Zurich to ensure our risk proposition enables our customers to understand and manage these risks effectively.
Alix started her career as a Strategic Risk Consultant before spending 7 years as the lead officer for risk and performance management at a Unitary Local Authority. Prior to her current role, Alix managed the Public Services segment within Zurich Municipal, further increasing her knowledge and skills of the sector and how ZM can meet its needs. Alix has experience in a variety of fields including strategy and policy development, corporate planning, performance management, programme and project management and business resilience. Alix is a member of the Institute of Risk Management and was their Certificate qualification student of the year for 2016.
Rod has worked as the Head of Sales at Zurich Municipal for 11 years.
