The managing risk playbook: learnings and lessons from the crisis
Join this webinar to find out the key takeaways from the Breakfast Briefing on Managing Risk
The Covid-19 crisis has shone a pointed light on many areas of procurement, from supply chain frailties to infrastructure limitations – both within companies and outside. How companies managed risk, prepared for the worst, used technology has all come under scrutiny.
This webinar is taking a look at the key questions that fell out of the CIPS breakfast briefing at the end of April – about the visibility of supply chains, about mitigation and about the use of data to be better prepared in a crisis next time.
We discuss, debate then create the key learnings from both the breakfast briefing and the experience of those supporting procurement. What are the common problems falling out of the crisis and how can you solve them, not only in the short term – but if we ever find ourselves in crisis mode again?
Through using specific examples of changes and responses happening right now, we explore…
The role of technology – and data
Emergency response strategies
How to supplier map effectively, including relationship management
How to get the broader business onside
