What does supply chain sustainability excellence really look like?
In this CIPS Excellence webinar, Oliver Hurrey, Sustainable Procurement Pledge champion, will ask leaders from Innocent, Schneider Electric and Normative what sustainability excellence means to them.
Join this panel discussion to get exclusive insight into award-winning initiatives where procurement and supply teams have driven their company’s approach to sustainability. With the opportunity to ask your own questions, you’ll leave with key learnings from those leading the way, and inspiration for how you can shape your supply chain for a sustainable future.
Innocent’s Chloé François will share the impact of the procurement team’s radical decision to take sustainability into its own hands. From building its own carbon-neutral factory in Rotterdam, to improving packaging sustainability and initiating an award-winning partnership with zero-emission haulier, Breytner Post.
Christophe Quiquempoix, winner of the Sustainable Procurement Champion CIPS Excellence award, will explain Schneider Electric’s pioneering Zero Carbon Project. Already achieving a significant reduction of 27% of operational emissions of their top 1,000 suppliers, the framework is engaging suppliers to reduce their environmental impact – many of which had little previous knowledge of carbon measuring and reporting.
You’ll also hear from Normative’s Dr. Alexander Schmidt, who will tie these two initiatives together and provide a wider view of what best practice looks like across the procurement and supply profession. Schmidt will give insight into the biggest sustainability challenges facing companies today, as well as avenues for solutions.
