CloseWill heads up Verisk Maplecroft’s global Climate and Resilience team. He has been analysing and addressing ESG and climate risks at Verisk Maplecroft for almost a decade, working across sectors including finance, oil and gas, mining, insurance, and consumer and retail.
Prior to joining Verisk Maplecroft in 2015, Will spent eight years as a climate and energy journalist, covering corporate sustainability, government policy, and new technology to manage and mitigate climate change risks. Previously, he spent two and a half years working in both BP’s upstream and downstream business units.
Miranda is Principal Consultant for Sustainable Procurement & Human Rights at Verisk Maplecroft. She specialises in human rights and sustainable supply chains, working with brands across mining, food and agriculture, apparel and textiles, FMCG, plastics and chemicals, and finance.
Miranda supports businesses to prepare for current and forthcoming due diligence regulation in the EU and other jurisdictions. Her work helps organisations respond to increasing investor and consumer expectations for transparency and resilience. Her focus includes human rights due diligence aligned with the UNGPs, sustainable procurement programmes, ESG and strategy development, policy creation, senior leadership training, and sustainability reporting in line with international frameworks.
Anthony Hanley partners with large multi-national global organisations (including 50% FTSE 100/ FTSE 250/ Fortune 250 companies) to solve business critical and board agenda challenges with supply chain compliance from tier 1 to 4 and beyond. Anthony is part of CIPS, IOD, CBI, Supply Chain Sustainability School member, Sustainable Procurement Ambassador, Ambassador and is a member of the UN Global Compact Group focused on ending modern slavery in global supply chains and Council Member for the BSA (Business Services Association) modern slavery council. Hanley has also been a keynote speaker for multiple webinars, panels, think tanks, advisory boards, and has spoken at CIPS and other international supply chain events.
Audrey Clavedon has over 15 years of experience in supply chain due diligence, sustainable commodities, and traceability. At Sedex, she works with businesses to develop large-scale innovative solutions that meet regulatory requirements like CSRD, TNFD, and EUDR while strengthening supply chain transparency. She has held leadership roles at Amazon, L’Oréal, and M&S, leading traceability initiatives, integrating sustainability into global supply chains, and shaping corporate strategy. She also advises businesses on responsible sourcing and sits on industry boards, contributing to the development of ESG and supply chain standards. Recognised for her expertise, she is known for cutting through complexity and delivering solutions that shape the future of sustainable supply chains.
Shaun has held several senior Supply Chain and Procurement roles in FTSE 100 and Fortune 50 companies. He has over 30 years in senior procurement positions, most recently in the Facilities Management sector with Mitie as CPO and Director of Offshore Shared Services, and before that in the fast-moving motor vehicle distribution and retail market across 4 continents, as CPO, with Inchcape PLC, leading a digitally enabled procurement transformation. Previously he has held global CPO roles in G4S and VP Supply Chain in Johnson Controls GWS both in the support services and FM sectors. Shaun earned a MBA from City University and First in Civil Engineering from Portsmouth.
Jimena is Verisk Maplecroft’s Chief Analyst. She frequently provides advice to multinational companies and multilateral institutions on geopolitical and country-specific political risk. Jimena has undertaken numerous field projects, including Human Rights Impact Assessments for clients across the globe.
Jimena participates in diplomatic, academic and business forums, addressing issues of global, regional and country-specific concern. She is an experienced public speaker and is often invited to deliver analysis to some of the world’s largest industry shows and conferences. Jimena also makes regular contributions to the British and foreign media.
